Carbon Copy is a family of aluminium lights designed by John Tree that play with the bright reflective qualities of anodising. The surface finish offers a range of metallic hues, from bright primaries to subtler silvers that are brought to life when illuminated.

The lightweight aluminium sheet is formed through laser cutting and spinning to create a range of precisely detailed pendant and table top fittings. The range of sizes and unique light that these designs generate compliments a wide variety of situations from commercial through domestic.

An off-spin of 2016’s Carbon Lantern – Carbon Copy offers a more accessible alternative to the original Hypetex Cabron Fibre version. Produced in anodised aluminium, the collection comes in a range of sizes, finishes as well as pendant and table versions making it a versatile solution to any interior.

John Tree worked as a senior designer for Sony, but now works on projects with a range of both established and new manufacturers, developing products across multiple categories, from high-end small-run through to mainstream mass-produced commercial items.
