Showrooms get ready for CDW

CDW opens on May 24th and not only is it filled with on street installations and design pop-ups, but the big-boys in the showrooms also have some great stuff going on. Here are some top picks:

icons of denmark

Denmark has always been present on the design scene, but not quite as well-known as its Scandi cousins. Things are changing however. Head to Icons of Denmark Icons where they will introduce new pieces to the UK market, such as the No. 1 sofa by Børge Mogensen, J48 by Poul Volther and the Swoon lounge chair by Space Copenhagen.

Bisley will be present at Clerkenwell Design Week for the first time in a surprise partnership with Acrylicize, the multidisciplinary creative agency. This unique collaboration will combine a great heritage brand, with the creative and intelligent thinking that typifies Acrylicize, to produce a truly stunning piece of Public Art that will present Bisley in an unexpected form. The final piece will be displayed in St Johns Square during Clerkenwell Design Week.

Experience Bolon’s new rantge: ‘Bolon by You.’ It features six new patterns with influences drawn from art, fashion, culture and textiles. The collection focuses on the interplay between materials, colour and texture, and enables architects and designers to participate in the design process to create the result they want. Doshi Levien have collaborated with Bolon throughout its development, using their unique point of view to hone the collection campaign to bring it to life.
