Since 2015 designers have turned their attention to the humble acoustic panel pushing on trend geometric shapes and mixing materials.  A couple of design companies who have taken the product one step further are ArperStokkeAustad,  Form Us With Love for Baux.

Parentesit designed by Lievore Altherr Molina is an acoustic wall module that reduces background noise and creates an area for concentration.

The bold geometric shapes are available in three shapes––a circle, a square or an oval.

StokkeAustad mixed a range of different materials – mirrors, polished brass and Norwegian stone to produce Patch a series of acoustic panels for Gudbrandsdalen Uldvarefabrikk. The design team framed the each piece with stained pine frames treating them like a painting.

The composite geometric panels come in three sizes and five patterns.

Form Us With Love for Baux

Form Us With Love made the colourful wood wool acoustic panels from recycled wood, water and cement. The new series is available in five patterns and 20 colours.
