Fashion in 3D

Grab a pair of 3D specs to the experience this surreal series of fashion photographs by Matjaž Tancic.

These striking 3D photographs integrate models into urban or rural landscapes and were created by Tancic in eight locations across: China, the UK and Slovenia.

The perspective creates a layered and collage-like effect, adding a haunting feel to the fashion landscapes.

Matjaž Tancic is a photographer and graduate of the London College of Fashion, who works between London and Ljubljana in his native Slovenia.

3D Photography has been around since 1938, but with evolving technology it is now becoming popular to film movies and television in 3D, after a brief – and failed – stint in the ’90s. We hope to see more contemporary photographers using 3D imagery in their work.
