This time of year sees the natural phenomenon that is the northern polar lights or
Aurora Borealis occur in the northern hemisphere. Our fascination with them and how visually stimulating they are, is best described by the Cree as ‘The Dance of the Spirits’. This spectacular light display unfortunately cannot be seen from our cities, as we fill them with more lights than usual, at this time of year. It’s a real shame we miss out on the opportunity to glimpse this polar dance, but those of you wishing to take a plane ride to see the Aurorae from several of our UK airports can do by taking a look at the link below.

The most treasured bike was my silver Strika. I remember the trouble my father had trying to fit it in the back of our mini to get it back home. Many a lemon curd sarnies later, it became too small, but that hasn’t stopped me adding a few kids bikes to my collection. take a look at <http://raleighstrika.com/>

For me, it’s the appeal of finding those extra pair of werewolf feet from a pound store, it’s rekindles my earliest memories of watching Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby, running stage right from a Blue Peter made ghoul.
