Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, it’s simple and effective: 20 images x 20 seconds per person.

Nina Hertig, co-founder of Sigmar is hosting the first pop-up Modern Danish Warehouse in an impressive disused Art Deco Garage in Brompton, selling an edited selection of vintage pieces.
For three weeks, the Garage (in the heart of the Brompton Design District) will house up to 120 vintage chairs, tables, sideboards, and sofas ranging from £100 to £1500. All purchases can be taken home immediately

At this years 100% Design the TEN design collective presented TEN XYZ — an exploration of their varied perspectives on the complex issues of sustainability within design using digital manufacturing technologies.
TEN XYZ references the axis utilised within software and digital manufacturing technologies to produce three-dimensional objects. For this years project TEN have explored a plethora of digital technologies including; Laser Cutters, Water Jet Profilers, 3D scanning, 2-Axis plotter-cutters, rapid prototyping as well as 3 and 5-Axis CNC routing.

Designer Jacqueline Rabun open her exquisite studio and showroom in Grosvenor Crescent Mews.
The space will exhibit designs by Danish designer Nina Tolstrup from Studiomama, who Jacqueline has long admired. There will also be six new collections from Jacqueline on show.
London designer Nina Tolstrup of Studio Mama presented a collection of furniture made from digitally-altered branches with TEN XYZ at 100% Design in London last month.
Called Branch Out, the project involved scanning the branches with a 3D scanner before maniuplating them with software and rapid-prototyping the resulting forms.
The acclaimed Dutch designer Nina Tolstrup of Studiomama has taken her studio’s philosophy – to create ingenious, excellent and sustainable design that acts in a socially positive way – to an impressive new level with the recent Pallet Project, on show at the 100% Design festival.
