British designer and ceramicist Peter Ting has designed Hachi a dinner service for Royal Crown Derby that beautifully re-contextualises iconic patterns from the company’s rich history.
“Out of my huge admiration for all that Royal Crown Derby and all the other British potteries have accomplished in fine bone china, I wanted to explore and celebrate these patterns that have become part of our aesthetic landscape’ says Ting. ‘I am interested in investigating new ways of incorporating these ‘traditional’ patterns into contemporary life.’
