Easy-fun and cheap what more could you want ? Sturdy,Cool, well made? YES !!!

Cubit® launches in the UK Cubit® is a patented modular storage system. It is simple, functional, easy to install and incredibly cheap. Cubit® comes in 21 sizes, all of which can interlock or be used alone. You can buy one or 1001. Cubit® storage is ideal for awkward areas (like under the stairs) or for making a bold storage
statement using an entire wall. Cubit® is a high quality German concept. (and a lot cheaper than a Mercedes)

What?s so Clever about Cubit®?
Its so easy to use and it has a world of infinite possibilities. Customising and creating bespoke configurations can be done at the drop of a hat, whether you want lean, mean linear shelving for your minimal space or a quirky configuration to house your vintage collectibles. Cubit® comes ready made – so no self-assembly is required. No tools are required to join Cubits together.

Personalise
Personalise and customise Cubit® boxes can be configured to whatever design you want, to match any budget. You can start with one and build your collection or you can design your own storage area. You
can use them at home or in the office – Cubit® can be used anywhere that storage is needed.

You can buy Cubit® boxes in a variety of sizes starting at £16.50 each (for Cubit® CD24: 24Lx 16H
x 17.2Dcms.). Cubit® is currently available in a white matte lacquer finish and is made in Europe.

‘SHOP’ at Her House Gallery in Hoxton is an exhibition by Vicky Thornton and Morag Myerscough comprising two parts: a collection of hand made ceramics and seat cushions by architect Thornton and artist/designer Myerscough’s personal chair collection. The exhibition will also see the launch of a new product in Myerscough’s Her House collection.

Architect, writer and illustrator, Vicky Thornton’s latest project is a collection of seat pads. Thornton has upcycled her growing collection of 50s and 60s vintage textiles and also used them as inspiration for a collection of her own print designs, re-interpreting images from contemporary life like the i-pod and takeaway coffee cup and printing them in bright, bold colour designs.

Sitting alongside the seat pads are Thornton’s hand-thrown stoneware ceramics, made using recycled ‘waste’ clay from the throwing and turning process. Her ceramics, ranging from jugs and cups to bowls and vases, all share a pure and modernist aesthetic: simple forms and bold colours, often used in complementary pairs of groups, recalling the colours commonly used by the likes of Le Corbusier in the early to mid 20th century.

At the heart of SHOP will be Myerscough’s personal chair collection. Unashamedly describing it as a ‘bit of an obsession’ the collection of vintage chairs has grown considerably over the last few years and will act as a backdrop for Thornton’s designs. The show will also feature a bench with lacquered legs and a reclaimed wood top, designed by Myerscough and the artist Luke Morgan – a new product under the Her House Gallery label.

Friday 10th – Sunday 12th Dec 11am – 6pm

At first glance it is a simple wooden chair that seems to defy gravity by standing upright while only having two front legs, but on closer inspection the shadow is made from steel and is attached to a metal frame built inside the chair.
