GF Smith reveal

Following a global survey, where thousands of people spanning over 100 countries worldwide voted for their most loved colour, ‘Marrs Green’, named in honour of the survey participant Annie Marrs, who chose the shade closest to the winning hue, will now join the iconic Colorplan range as the temporary 51st shade, and is available for use by designers, brands and individuals via gfsmith.com.

Marrs Green’s inaugural use was as part of design consultancy Made Thought’s inclusion in ‘Paper City’, an exhibition of beautiful, surprising and colourful temporary installations, that was open in Hull until 9 July and is now travelling in part to London.

Paper City saw eight leading creatives; Adam Holloway, Max Lamb, Lazerian, Made Thought, Jacqueline Poncelet, Joanna Sands, Bethan Laura Wood and Richard Woods, all of whom were invited to play with the most fundamental creative material –paper. We are going to try and catch it in London as we missed it in Hull.
