Kunsthofpassage, located in the Dresdens Äußere Neustadt (Outer New Town) neighbourhood has a series of courtyards designed by local artists working on a theme. And in one of the courtyards there’s this colourful building with a series of metallic funnels attached to the facade.
When it rains, water is channeled down the front of the building in a way that creates melodic notes as it goes. It sounds almost like this cool piece of architecture is singing! They took their inspiration from a Rube Goldberg machine, a contraption designed to perform a simple task in an comically over-engineered fashion.

Beautiful to look at and well worth a visit in the rain!
