American designer Kyle Buckner’s recent “Lounge Chair” carved from layered pine curves gracefully from foot to head. Pieces like this chair he really finds his voice, the stain is red mahogany, the cushions are leather. [via Contemporist /Curatedmag]

    The design is very appealing, but 100% against the rules of ergonomic seating.

    Isn’t it about time designers of seats started learning what a spinal cord looks like, and what a proper seating posture requires in terms of seat design???
