Purple is a tricky colour to do well in fashion and interiors, but it’s also a colour that is becoming increasingly hard to ignore. Avoiding the more tacky Gothic shades and going for something altogether more lush and papal, designers are at last breaking down my old prejudices. At Mix we particularly like the work of young designer Johanna Landin’s braid lamp. Look out too for this colour at Magis, Softline, Moustache and Vondom.
