This time of year sees the natural phenomenon that is the northern polar lights or
Aurora Borealis occur in the northern hemisphere. Our fascination with them and how visually stimulating they are, is best described by the Cree as ‘The Dance of the Spirits’. This spectacular light display unfortunately cannot be seen from our cities, as we fill them with more lights than usual, at this time of year. It’s a real shame we miss out on the opportunity to glimpse this polar dance, but those of you wishing to take a plane ride to see the Aurorae from several of our UK airports can do by taking a look at the link below.
