What made you want to become a designer in the first place?
I like good looking stuff and also the passion of creating , interpreting something out of nothing.
Where did you study design?
Undergraduate: Ankara, Turkey / Graduate: Milan, Italy
What was the first thing you designed?
Aircraft. When I was five years old, I was constantly drawing airplanes.
How do you define good design?
An object, structure which fulfills all the needs of the criteria for senses and aesthetics
What would you be if not a designer?
Well, something which includes social interaction
Which design of yours are you most proud of and why?
SheetSeat, it came out quite nice in a very limited time, plus I feel like it caught a niche in the market. I also enjoyed to work with Ufuk.
Anything in your career you wish you’d done differently?
So far, I don’t have any regrets but attending more competitions.

Arne Jackobsen, Ross Lovegrove, Huub Ubbens
Which product do you wish you’d designed/do you think is an example of good design?
Definitely Egg Chair by Arne. It is my base understanding of good design
Tell me about your design style at home?
Modern but homey by some personal touches. A home should present that particular person’s or people’s character so it should be well balanced by adding both personal objects and style.
